December 14, 2008 - A review of the Christmas Concert Dear Ian, Bianca and René,
I attended the very beautiful concert that you performed this afternoon at Christ Church in Aylmer in support of the Maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie. I am Mathieu's father. Unfortunately, my wife, Pierrette Froment-Savoie, who is a professional musician and professor of Music at the Conservatory, could not attend your concert because she had to finish marking term exams and papers for her students before leaving on a trip tomorrow morning. However, at the end of the concert I did buy a set of your 3 CDs for her to listen on her trip. I'm sure she will enjoy your music as much as I did this afternoon! It was really nice performances in solos and together!

October 20, 2007 Bonjour! Here's a pic of Ian in a Tokyo recording studio. He was hired to sing something in French. Allo! August 26, 2007 Check this out for a bit of fun. Thanks, Diane August 23, 2007 "Konichiwa" (hello) from the land of the rising sun to all my friends! I'm here in Japan, playing at one of the world's premier jazz clubs,"The NewYork Bar", perched atop the 52nd floor of the luxurious Park Hyatt Hotel in downtown Tokyo. From the stage this amazing city stretches as far as the eye can see, and on clear days the view includes the famous Mount Fuji. October 2006 Ian has just finished a great new latin jazz recording with vocalist Bianca Pittoors. Ian is on piano, and is the Producer as well as helping on the arrangements. Featuring Tom McMahon on bass, Pete Beaudoin on drums, Mike Trembley on sax and Alvaro de Minaya on percussion, this album was recorded "live" ( meaning no multi-track recording, no over-dubs, just one "take"of each tune) at the old Town Hall in Almonte, just outside of Ottawa, by engineer Ken Frissen. The album, entitled "8" will be released at a party at the NAC 4th Stage on Nov. 8th, for more info., check out http://www.bianca8.com
